Our First Donation: A Meaningful Milestone for GiveItWell
At GiveItWell, we believe that when women support women, incredible things happen.
This March, we had the opportunity to partner with the incredible team at Ready Set Pivot (RSP) as part of their International Women's Day celebration. Throughout the month, RSP hosted a series of pop-up experiences across the Twin Cities designed to help women connect, grow, and move forward faster. Their mission is centered around empowering women through community, collaboration, and action.
I was honored to host a Self-Care Happy Hour as part of RSP's "Play" pillar, creating space for women to prioritize their well-being while connecting with others. As part of the International Women's Day initiative, 50% of ticket sales were directed back to women-owned businesses and organizations, reinforcing RSP's commitment to helping women succeed together.
Following community voting, GiveItWell was selected as one of the organizations to receive a donation.
This gift holds special meaning for us. GiveItWell officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on April 28, 2026, making this our very first donation as a nonprofit.
While the donation itself is appreciated, what makes this moment so meaningful is the belief and support behind it. As a newly formed organization dedicated to providing cancer care packages and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, every dollar helps us expand our impact and serve more people in our community.
We are incredibly grateful to the Ready Set Pivot community, the event hosts, and every woman who attended a pop-up experience, purchased a ticket, and voted for GiveItWell. Your support is helping us turn compassion into action.
Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference one cancer care package, one connection, and one act of kindness at a time.
